What we are looking for...
We are looking for a talented Visual Designer to join our UI team to build engaging and successful on-screen interactions. We need somebody who can work within an established team but show initiative and drive to work autonomously. Attention to detail, an eye for pixel perfect layouts and a stickler for accessibility & inclusivity are an absolute must.
As a Visual Designer on our UI team we are looking for someone who can combine desirability and usability by manipulating pixels to control icons, colour, type, visual hierarchy and behaviours.
About you...
Consultancy experience is desirable but a passion for user experience and a constant drive for learning and bettering yourself will go a long way. Whilst we know you’re not a developer you should be able to hold your own while conversing with software engineers about development strategies as well as with clients about understanding their brand and their users. You should have excellent information and graphic presentation skills with a strong understanding of interaction design principles for embedded, web or mobile solutions. The ability to create interactive simulations to showcase your visual creativity is a must.

Within these sectors we deliver on multiple platforms such as tablets, mobile, tv, desktop & embedded ce devices as well as browser based applications. Specific Skills:
- Strong information and graphic presentation design skills
- Ability to understand user needs and translate them into a solution that provides great user experiences
- Create a variety of visual solutions that meet both user needs and implementation requirements
- An aptitude for developing user interfaces across a variety of platforms
- Ability to convert 1st hand user insights into user requirements
- Knowledge in documenting visual style guides
- Ability to present design work to clients based on brand requirements and usability needs
- Ability to bring your designs to life through interactive demo’s in Flash or something similar
- Highly competent in common graphic design tools (eg CS suite)
- Any experience designing for iOS / Android or CE devices will go in your favour
